Overview

This info should give you a good idea of what an apprenticeship is, what the schedule is like, and the differences between an apprenticeship  vs a traditional nail school.

What is an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a more individualized form of nail school than a traditional nail school. With an apprenticeship, you will receive a 1:2 education, rather than having one instructor per 10+ students. An apprenticeship also offers more modernized education and a more relevant, advanced supply kit. Our program is designed to deliver a hands-on approach to schooling, and give a real life salon experience to students, in order to help students build their career while they are in school.

Schedule

- Our school day goes from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The school week starts Monday, and ends Friday. If you are unable to make arrangements for this schedule, please specify in your application, as our instructors may be able to work with you on a different schedule.

- The program is 375 total hours, which is 12 weeks with a full-time schedule.

Curriculum & Instruction

- During the day, you and your instructors will service public clients as a part of your practical instruction. Instructors will be present to answer questions, and help with problem solving. You will learn modernized techniques for product application and nail art, which are not taught in most nail schools.

- We will cover 9 total topics in class as part of state theory curriculum requirements. You will be given a project, and tested each week on our weekly topics. You will spend a lot of time practicing your techniques on a manikin hand, and working on workbooks.

-This program is very self-governed, so you must have a strong sense of drive and a good work-ethic in order to succeed.
