Q: How much time will be devoted to 1:1 personalized teaching?
A: We devote specific time every week to present a class to our students. This class usually includes lessons from textbooks along with a custom modernized curriculum with information from current outside sources. After the class, there is usually leftover time for 1 on 1 attention and individual help. Other days, we all take clients & do theory work from workbooks. You are able to watch instructors work on real clients in real time & ask questions, and we are always right there available to help you.

Q: How will you help me prepare for my state exams?
A: We include exam prep in the cost of tuition. We will supply your test kit for you. You will not have to pay extra for exam prep or your state testing kit. We will help you prepare your kit and go over the entire practical test in immense detail to ensure you are well prepared and ready to do your best come test day.

Who will be teaching me?
We have a few different instructors who will be available to teach you and provide you with the best education you can get! You will be registered with the state under one instructor, who will be primarily responsible for your education for the duration of your apprenticeship.

Q: Will I be compensated for services I complete?
You will keep 60% commission and 100% of your tips when servicing clients at The Nail Studio. We determine your pricing for you.

Q: Am I allowed to take days off?
A: All major holidays will usually be scheduled off, which won’t count towards your allotted time off. You can miss up to five 8-hour days during your program, or 40 hours.

Q: How will you help me grow on social media?
A: We are always doing shoutouts for our students on social media platforms. We also have a full lesson dedicated to business structures and social media, with all of our current tips and tricks for raising social media engagement.

Q: What fees do you cover?
A: There are some fees involved with an apprenticeship appointed by the state. I include the cost of all these fees in your tuition, except for your actual final license application fee. I also include the fees for your first time taking both of the state tests.
